Captain Closeout was started in 2017 by Alex Sottile as an off-price distribution company.
We buy factory over-runs, closeouts, overstock, stores that go out of business, canceled orders, whole clothing brands that are shutting down, and company liquidations.
The products we source are consolidated and redistributed to over 300 retail stores all over the USA, the Caribbean, and South America.
We also have 2 outlet stores of our own in Fort Lauderdale, both named "Captain's Closet".
The inventory we focus on is mostly clothing related to fishing, hunting, surfing, diving, the outdoors, resort wear, and beachwear. We also buy large lots of fishing rods and tackle.
The types of stores that usually buy from us are; surf shops, beach shops, tackle shops, marinas, dive shops, boutiques, and outlet stores.
